Yor support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission to ensure that every duck lives out it's happiest life.

Sponsorship includes a digital gift certificate plus a monthly digital newsletter with news all about the rescue and your chosen sponsored duck (or the flock).
We send out the newsletter once a month which includes photos and news about how your sponsor is getting on and news from the rescue.
You will also get reduced prices for items we sell such as cards and calendars.

You can either make a one-off donation or set up a direct debit, the choice is yours. The minimum amount is £5 per month. To give an idea of costs, a 20kg bag of food costs around £13 (we go through a tonne of food a fortnight). Your donation/s will go towards feed, bedding, care and medicine for our feathered friends.

We like to offer you the chance to sponsor in the following way:
1. The entire rescue flock
2. One of our lovely ducks from the disabled flock
3. Or the disabled flock as a whole - this way you will get a newsletter about all the disabled residents each month.

Bee came into us with her siblings who were significantly bigger than her. She is full of life and character and has no fear. Bee is a Call Duck.

Derek is a charming older chap who thinks he is more dog than a duck. He loves nothing more than to follow you around and pester you for a stroke and a fuss. Derek has a severe angel wing and so cannot fly but he doesn't let this stop him. Derek is a Muscovy.

Zoe, who is actually a boy, joined the rescue as a resident two years ago. He came with his best friend Lola, also a boy, but sadly Lola passed away a few years ago.
Zoe now has a two new best friends, Kevin who is also an older chap, and Bob, who whilst younger is a great carer for Zoe and Kevin. Zoe is a Pekin.

Cashew is one of our lovely older resident ladies, who despite her age is still happy to give the youngsters a run for their money.
She enjoys sunning herself and swimming endlessly in the pond taking in the world around her.
Cashew is a crested duck.

Sponsoring our flock means you will get to hear about all their antics, with different photos and news each month.

Sponsoring our disabled flock means you will get to hear about our very special disabled ducks each month including photos and news.

Sponsoring to receive a random newsletter will mean to get news about any one of our amazing sponsored ducks. You'll receive a different newsletter each month.

Forest is an older lady who was struggling with the standard duck set-up her owner had. So her owner decided to rehome her at the rescue so that she could live in a more disabled-friendly set-up. This was such a difficult decision for her owner to make and we are so grateful she decided to do what was right for the duck and not for her. Often this is not what happens and sometimes ducks come to us a little later than they should. We understand it is hard to make this sort of decision but in the end, it has to be what is right for the duck and Forest loves living here. Forest will be around 10 years old in 2025. Forest is a Mallard.

Vera Duckworth was 15 years old in June 2025 and whilst she started her time with us with her best friend as a mirror she has since made some wonderful new friends.
Vera is such a sweet little girl who loves nothing more than a gossip with the girls and a flirt.
Vera is a Khaki cross

Daisy and her husband came to the rescue as Daisy had broken her leg and the vets had suggested putting her to sleep was the only option.
We set and bandaged Daisys leg in place and after a time the bone heeled in place allowing Daisy to walk again. She has a limp but she certainly doesn't care - making herself known to the world at every opportunity. Daisy and Burt live with our disabled flock.
Daisy and Burt are Mini Appleyards

Odi is a gorgeous little Runner girl who came to the rescue without the ability to walk or stand. Similarly to Onni its believed this is a neurological condition but Odi doesn't care - she's such a happy girl.
She was 1 year old in 2025 and enjoys her own wheelchair and a walker to help her get about and visit around the rescue.

Boycie is a smart older gentleman who came to the rescue for his retirement home./ He has a lovely elderly flock of ladies and enjoys the company of all the ducks in our disabled flock.
Would you believe that Boycie is an amazing 18 years old as of 2025!!
He is such a funny boy who gives the impression of enjoying the slow and quiet life, but every now and again likes to prove he still has it by chasing the ladies around.
Boycie is a Saxony x

Wallace is handsome boy who came to us following an accident which left his only mobile leg and foot damaged meaning he cannot walk. We treated his injuries and have grown to love his calm and happy disposition. He has his own little disabled flock to keep him company
Wallace is a Cayuga

Onni came to us at a week old when his owner realised he would never be able to walk, due to a neurological issue. He wanted him to have a happy supported life and so he has been with us ever since. He is a fearless and determined little boy who doesn't let his neurological issues stop him. He has a wheelchair to help him get around and it is such a pleasure to have him living with us at the rescue. Onni was 2 years old in July 2025 and is a Mallard x Mini Appleyard.

Yoda is a curious and complicated character who came to us having been raised for two years by his loving owner.
He loves nothing more than to give chase and ankle bite Sally, our co founder, and then at other times to give her a hug. Needless to say his cheey ways make us laugh and keep us more than entertained.
Yoda is a Mallard.

Poppy, Primrose and Peony are beautiful cheeky young girls who love to spend all their time floating on the pond and flirting with the boys. These cheeky sisters came to us as duckling and captured our hearts so have become residents here at the rescue.
Poppy, Primrose and Peony are Ancona x Pekin.
