We understand that circumstances can change, and sometimes you can no longer care for your feathered friends. We are committed to supporting animal adoption whenever possible, so please note the following;
Disabled - We can always take in disabled and elderly ducks at our duck rescue. However, if they are male, they need to be relatively calm to integrate into our disabled flocks.
Females - We are always able to take in female ducks, as they can easily be grouped or paired with some of our lovely males to facilitate rehoming, or integrated into one of our resident flocks.
Males - We are currently facing an over-saturation of male ducks, leading to a waiting list for their adoption. Unfortunately, we cannot provide timelines for when a spot may open up. Males are often overlooked in duck rescue efforts, and we depend on the kindness of those willing to rehome boys to make space for others.
Drop-off Information
When bringing your duck/s to us, please remember that we are not a public site. Our insurance is specifically for our volunteers, and the site is also our home. While we understand your desire to see where your duck/s will go, this is not feasible. Additionally, we must prevent the transfer of pathogens, such as Avian Flu, to protect all our birds. However, we are more than happy to provide photos once they are settled in. If you're interested in supporting our mission, we also have volunteering opportunities available.
